Parent Reviews

What parents say

Feedback from families whose children we follow.

4.7 9 reviews
Every question we had in that first week was written down in order and answered one by one. We went home with a sheet of paper, not guesswork.

Newborn Follow-Up
What would happen was explained to my child as well as to me. I left knowing what to do if a fever came afterwards.
M. Demir
Childhood Vaccination
They put the weight curve on the screen and talked me through it. That is where I understood not to worry over a single measurement.

DEVELOPMENT

Stages of development

The skills expected at each stage and the questions we add at follow-up.

  • Approach We start from what the family has noticed and build the plan together
  • Continuity The same team sees the same child at every follow-up
  • Records Every measurement from birth to adolescence sits in one record

Head control, sitting with support, first syllables and eye contact. Feeding and sleep rhythms settle in this period, and the weight curve is followed most closely here.

We also ask about: Not sitting with support at six months, not turning towards sound.

Independent walking, a fast-growing vocabulary, using a spoon and getting ready for toilet training. Fussy eating is common at these ages.

We also ask about: No single words at eighteen months, difficulty making eye contact.

Forming sentences, shared play with peers, holding a pencil and taking turns. The pre-school review looks at vision, hearing and speech together.

We also ask about: Speech that is hard to understand, never joining peer play.

Reading and writing skills, attention span and social routine. Frequent infections, headaches and abdominal pain are assessed alongside the school routine.

We also ask about: A sudden drop in school performance, repeated absence.

The growth spurt, the timing of pubertal signs, sleep routine and emotional wellbeing. Part of the consultation is held with the young person alone.

We also ask about: Growth in height levelling off, a lasting change in sleep pattern.

OUR CLINIC

From birth to adolescence with one team

Every child growth curve, immunisation record and developmental notes are kept in a single record. Families leave a follow-up with the next date and a list of signs to watch at home, so the gap between two visits is not spent guessing.

FOLLOW-UP ROUTINE Unwell children and well-child visits are booked into different hours of the day.
